Botanical Explorers Mail Club
Welcome to the world’s first mushroom run snail mail club.
The goal of the Botanical explorers is to emphasize the joy of slowing down, taking your time and learning something new every month about the hidden world of plants that surround us.
Do you want to curate your own journal filled with botanical curiosities from all over the world, while also meeting your fellow mushroom explorers who introduce you to the wonderful stories and history of the plant they chose.
Be warned, a mushroom run snail mail club is slow, in fact The Botanical Explorer’s mail club is one of the slowest around. Mushrooms tend to do things in their own time and the routes they take are treacherous and full of perils. Yet, they will persevere and journey on to bring you your little pieces of wonder every month.
About the Artist
Sinead “Nene” is a self-taught South African watercolour artist known for her beautiful paintings and her passion for the outdoors. Throughout the week she is a Phytotherapist where she works with plants and loves finding inspiration for her paintings in the natural world around her. Through her art and her botanical journey, she loves exploring and researching the stories and history behind the plants she finds.
